ASATID named after A. Aliyev continues activities to adapt medical educational programs to international experience, as well as to update and improve the knowledge and skills of local specialists, which were started by the Azerbaijani WHO delegation in 2021 within the framework of the Project “Response to a Pandemic in Azerbaijan” program.
As part of this program, from 02/22/2024 to 01/03, a course “Development of basic teaching skills” was organized for employees of the departments of ASATID named after A. Aliyev and teachers of Basic Medical College No. 2. The purpose of the course is to provide medical educators with new knowledge and skills and support the strengthening of human resources in this field.
Over the course of 7 days, according to the course program, 15 participants from different departments were presented with presentations and practical exercises on topics related to the educational process. As a result, at the end of the course, each of the participants demonstrated the application of the received teaching methods in connection with a topic related to their specialty.
On the last day of the training, the participants said that the course was organized at a high level, that they received interesting and useful information and would use this information in their activities, and were also satisfied with the course.
