The return of the National leader Heydar Aliyev to power in Azerbaijan on June 15, 1993 is a glorious page in the history of our country. Our people don’t forget about the merits of their great savior and celebrate June 15 - National Salvation Day every year with a great pleasure. This return ensured the existence of Azerbaijan, and our independence is the greatest historical achievement. If the first condition was gaining independence, then the second important issues were preservation and development and this became a reality because of efforts of the National leader. Heydar Aliyev created the concept of our National statehood, and despite all the obstacles, socio-political stability was restored in the country in the shortest possible time. Today's victories of Azerbaijan are a direct result of this policy.
