From September 19 to 23, ASATID named after A. Aliyev held a meeting with the delegation of the World Health Organization (WHO) Assessment Mission, which was on a business trip in our country.
Welcoming the guests, the Rector of the Institute, Professor Nazim Gasimov noted that in the conditions of mutual cooperation with WHO, important work has been done in our country and successful projects have been implemented. The representative office of the organization in Azerbaijan, together with the Ministry of Health and local executive structures, worked to improve healthcare in our Republic. At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the work done by the WHO European Office and the representative office in Azerbaijan in the direction of human resources, primary health care, nursing policy and hospitals.
The guests carefully got acquainted with the educational, scientific and medical work carried out at the institute, watched the activities of the educational base. The WHO assessment mission will get acquainted with other leading educational and medical institutions of our country.
