On September 17, 2022, together with the "Azerbaijan Society of Cardiology", "Azerbaijan Society of Resuscitation and Anesthesiologists", "Academy of Nutrition, Dietetics and Obesity Prevention" and "Association for the Support of Gynecology and Perinatal Development", an international conference was organized on the topic "Heart Diseases in Pregnant Women". The organization of the conference was also attended by Professor F.A. Quliyev, head of the Department of Cardiology of Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after. A.Aliyev, and associate professor K.H. Zahidova.
At the conference, Associate Professor of the Department of Cardiology of the Istanbul University of "Health Sciences" Gamze Babur Güler spoke on the topic "Valve disease and pregnancy", Professor Mehmet Aytak Yuksel from Acibadem Atakent Hospital "Pathologies of the fetal heart", gynecologist Aytan Safarova from Caspian International Hospital on the topic "Treatment of arterial hypertension during pregnancy". Professor F.A. Guliyev made a discussion on the topic “Choosing the right medicine during pregnancy”, Associate Professor K.Kh. Zahidova was the moderator of the session "Dyspnea during pregnancy - causes and treatment."
The conference was attended by 300 doctors, cardiologists, gynecologists, resuscitators and nutritionists.
