From May 18 to 20, 2022, the VI National Forum on Inflammatory bowel diseases was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan. We represent our country at this event. Associate Professor of the Department of Therapy Gulustan Babayeva presented the ASATID named after A. Aliyev.
On the first day of the forum, which was held for 3 days, speeches and extensive discussions were held related to the organization of the “roadmap”, special training of secondary medical personnel during the occurrence of neoplasms/dysplasias in patients with inflammatory bowel diseases; on other days, the results of research by scientists from Azerbaijan, Germany, Italy, Sweden, South Korea, Russia and Kazakhstan, related to new principles of diagnosis and treatment, multidisciplinary approach and extraintestinal problems. Gulustan Babayeva moderated the panel "Step up or step down" and made a report "Mesalazines: long-term prospects - maintenance of remission and prevention of colorectal cancer".
