A regular online meeting of the Academic Council of the Azerbaijan State Institute Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after A. Aliyev took place. The meeting agenda was as follows:

Dean of the Faculty of General Medicine, Associate Professor Zemfira Guliyeva said that in total in the calendar plan for the 2021/2022 academic year, 242 courses and trainings are planned, 34 of which will be mobile. 6,154 people are expected to attend these courses.
According to the Dean of the Faculty of Surgery, Associate Professor Said Aliyev, in the calendar plan for the 2021/2022 academic year, 448 courses and trainings are planned, 54 of which will be mobile. 6344 people are expected to attend these courses.
Dean of the Faculty of Preventive Medicine, Associate Professor Konul Karimova said that in total, 224 courses and trainings are planned in the calendar plan for the 2021/2022 academic year, 7 of which will be mobile. 2664 people are expected to attend these courses.
In their speeches, all three deans informed about the work done in the educational process, talked about innovations that should be used in the preparation of lectures.
The rector of the institute, professor N.A. Gasimov commented on this issue and noted that medical technologies, modern methods of diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation, used today in the modernization and innovative development of the healthcare system, can provide clinical, social and economic efficiency. There is a great need for medical personnel. For training such highly qualified specialists, the staff of the institute continue to work at full capacity, making the most of all the technical means and opportunities provided by innovative technologies. Doctors have been given access to all forms of distance learning and this work is carried out on a regular basis to ensure that all the tasks assigned to the institute during the pandemic are properly completed and, most importantly, the continuity of continuing education. Medical education. These issues are also taken into account in the calendar plan for the planned 2021/2022 academic year.
